I could not find an online manual for your player. In general there are two ways to disable for the Progressive Scan: Is there a switch on the back of the player, or if there is a place in the setup menu to select progressive or interlaced. Connectors, however, most players progressive scan output and its components (Y, Pr, Pb). If you S-video or composite shall have an interlaced output.
Go to the Settings menu, it is progressive scan mode on and off. Switch to the desired functions.
